A quote from Angela Carter's Sadeian Woman ("Criminality may present itself as a kind of saintly self-mastery, an absolute rejection of hypocrisy"), disco music, and hothouse flowers serve as counterpoints to fundamentalist agit-prop about gay sexuality.
