Ghundó is located in the municipality of Ixmiquilpan, Mexico. It has a population of 208 native inhabitants, belonging to the ethnic group ñahñu, most of them are bilingual: ñahñu and Spanish. The main economic activity is the agriculture of temporary corn, which does not always guarantee the crop due to the lack of rain and frost. There are small cultivations of apple and peach, the harvest of edible and medicinal herbs that women sell at the Monday's market in Ixmiquilpan. Another activity carried out by women is the loom of waist: knapsacks, bags, girdles, that are sold in the same community or at the market. The video refers to the last activity. The loom of waist has several parallel woods. The top of the woods set the tips of the warp, while the other end separates the even threads of the unequal. The upper part contains a cord which is knotted to a stable point, for example, a tree. The lower part possesses a belt that women tight to the waist.
