One of the most unknown uprisings of our history "The bread mutinery" was led by women in Cordoba, May 1652. There are no faces, there are neither names. There is no image of them. How can we recover the gestures of resistance that we cannot see?

A new place in the world is revealed while Bea is confronted with loss and what she imagines will come. In the house that prepares itself to embrace change, fears dwell. An unforeseen loneliness also seems to be part of her desire, that of being a mother without a partner and a lesbian. Raquel films her attached to a time when the two shared the same idea of community. As Bea’s body changes, the camera moves between affection and distance. An attempt to get to know each other (again), and perhaps also a need to wonder about family, love, friendship and all those desires that overflow the limits of intimacy.

In the depths of aquatic worlds there is an amniotic fluid that connects us, immersing us in that place where gills are evident through bubbles, plankton and algae. Fluid, lactating worlds where the horizon is hazy and undulating. Where up or down is anywhere and everywhere at the same time.

The animals of Stella. While out exploring in the winter months, an almost prodigious chance encounter bring me to the shores of the lake ‘des Eaux-Chaudes’ (Alps of Haute Provence, France), the place that will become a creation laboratory of the video installation Les animaux de Stella/The animals of Stella. The human voice frees itself from the coded language and interacts with other sounds becoming part of the place, which in turn is internalized by the child. Thus a reciprocal dialogue is established, a spontaneous communication that brings out an intimate bond of affection. An equal relationship is progressively fostered between the girl and the environment that welcomes her, in an attempt to renew the ancient relationships between human and non-human.

Europe Trap is a film depicting the true struggle of a refugee. A close-up of Zakereh, a 55-year-old mother trying to reunite with her son, who is trapped in Greece. Through her eyes we shall witness her struggle against herself and society; a struggle as hard as the previous one she faced during wartime in Afghanistan. Zakereh fled Afghanistan many years ago. She escaped from war but she found misery and hostility. First in Iran, as a widow, with one child and without any rights, and later on, by crossing without papers many borders until she arrived in Europe. Once in Europe, at Athens airport she lost her son Omid and arrived alone in Spain without knowing where she was. Now she is suffering from culture shock, trying to fit in in another world where she doesn’t belong and dealing every day with a strange reality, with all her sadness and pain. The intimate portrait of an Afghan woman, who first became a widow and then a refugee. A testimony of the incomprehension of a new world and the situation she has to deal with now – a war as hard as the previous one, in the Europe Trap. A documentary about exile, loneliness, and the ghosts of war.

In April 1961, in the Aurès mountains of Algeria, a hunting commando made up of Breton conscripts confronts a group from the National Liberation Army and captures an Algerian prisoner. A French soldier, wounded in the clash and a schoolteacher in civilian life, recalls the events he experienced with his comrades over the past months: their opposition to the Algerian war led them to a camp reserved for draft resisters. He remembers how their commanding officer managed to turn them, from young anti-militarist Bretons, into fearsome fellagha hunters — ready to kill, and even starting to enjoy it. All of them, except him, gradually give in to the escalating violence. Avoir vingt ans dans les Aurès, is a fictional work based on eight hundred hours of recordings of French conscripts during the Algerian war.
