Scope and content
It is the end of the day. It is that tragic twilight moment when the brightness of the sky has to surrender to the yellow neon of the street lamps. Outside on the street, in the quiet industrial landscape of the city outskirts, a woman sings and a man plays the saxophone. Tonight they feel there is something special in the air. The city has send to each of them an invitation to take their time. Following their own paths and coming from opposite directions they encounter one another and have that last one explanation that could end it all up or make it starts all over again. The Billie Melo Show plays along with the classical notion of narrative. Based on the concept of repetition and variation of a single performance, the video explores the different aspects of a given situation.
