The real story takes place at the Greek island of Symi where Daniel Spoerri, the famous fluxus artist lived and worked in the late '60s. There, a young lawyer (32 years old) visits his house for his summer vacation almost every year and one of the first things he does is to destroy the public lamp that is placed in front of his balcony's view to the street for aesthetic reasons. He says that it spoils his view to the port. The artist found the young person and asked him his permission to record this action. When everything was set up for the recording to everyone's surprise the protagonist broke the lamp using a found stone at once, in his first try. The title was choosen because it refers at the perfect gesture of a player in a bowling game and at the same time at the political demonstration of workers in order to fulfill their demands. It is a metaphorical or else alligoric title which gives to the viewer the chance to make several interpretations for the meanings and intentions of the artist creating this work.
