The film Tournée” is a continuation of documentary "The Music Lesson" - an awards winning home and abroad picture. The main character of the film - a pianist and composer Tomasz Stroynowski – organizes throughout the rural schools a cycle of music events with the participation of Polish music stars. The film includes, among others, an appearance of Leszek Mo?d'er, Zbigniew Wodecki, Mieczys?aw Szcze?niak, Krzysztof Herdzin, Jacek Królik, soprano soloist Agnieszka Tomaszewska and titled violinist Piotr P?awner. Musical Odyssey of Tomasz Stroynowski shows that culture hunger of contact with live music at the highest level, does not concern only the big agglomerations sophisticated audience, but also the inhabitants of smaller towns. (And maybe even mostly them.)
The field of observation is limited to the Registry Office in Krakow during opening hours, or more specifically, to its three rooms. One is used to register births, the second one deaths, and the third one weddings. The observation of the clients' and clerks' behaviour in each room offers a portrait of our everyday lives, as well as fate.
