Year 1992, the US presidential elections seen through the pirated satellite images of media corporations. Brian Springer reveals the wings of the media stage, contrasting footage from two different sources: the official media images beamed out to homes all around the world, and images meant for internal use by mass media multinationals. Images of collaborators, spin doctors, politicians and media agents preparing strategies to defeat the enemy in the arena of the television spectacle.

From the outside of the Guggenheim Museum, through glass walls, a home video camera records the social activity provoked by an Antonio Tàpies exhibition. An unsettling camera movement gives us these images, accompanied by the soundtrack of "The Critters". 3rd Mostra de Vídeo Independent de Barcelona 1996.

Part of Non-Identified Video Observatory (OVNI)

Sparklene is the first in a series of narrative fragments about haptic visuality and presence in Vancouver. They play with a question of embodied contact with objects and living creatures that can occur outside offixed clichés of vision, touch and speech. The film attempts to subvert the dominance and mastery of the visual in the experience of Vancouver with telepathy, the outmoded, the animal and the magic in sound of mylar in my eyes.
