This creative documentary, directed by Luke W Moody, searches for traces of Ken Loach's early work 'Kes' and its resonance with the history of South Yorkshire's former mining towns. Using playful reenactment the film sensitively addresses the historic differences between the 'then' of 1969 and 'now' of 2009.
