It would be lucky if a Shia made the first film o video about Judas Iscariot wailing in the interval between the moment of betrayal and the moment of suicide. Judas agreed the signal to the crowd carrying swords and sticks and sent by the majors and priests of the village to arrest Jesus: "whomever I kiss is the one".

copiado de sixpack films xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Kurukshetra – the field of the eighteen-day mythological battle, which is told in great detail in the 100,000 double verses of the Sanskrit Mahabharata epic. The Kurukshetra-Report – Games in an empty white room. Two men in a clinch: punching, beating, kicking, strangling, groaning, whimpering, shouting. In rapid alternation: familiar representations of violence from the cinema and other arts. The ballet of Far Eastern martial arts alongside pure Blood-Realism with make-up on. But no justifications or explanations here. No story, no motif, it is simply so. Provocation and material for the endless censorship debate that revolves around the assumption that films provoke and foster violence, render viewers victims. But how, when the viewer isn't really so innocent? How, when, in an act of regression he even enjoys engaging with the pictures of violence. That's nothing new, and not only in dreams. Constructed in its most beautiful form in a forgotten film genre, in slapstick, but also in cartoons: a ceaseless beating and stabbing, a torrent of baseness. Infantile sadism, polymorphous perverse sexuality. A worldwide audience once helped these films to tremendous success – and mobilized censure and criticism. But that is simply vulgar – which is, after all, true. Yet the picture of a simple, regressive viewer is incomplete. Infantile amusement enters into a paradoxical tryst with the appraisal and admiration of the depiction's artistry that makes entirely clear that no one is harmed in the outrageous attacks. Which, in the end, also applies to the feature film and its stars. For that reason, thanks also go to Alexander Pach and Marc Patrick Dressen, who slam and are slammed so skillfully for Ascan Breuer's demonstration of violence.

The Job has been put together from over six hours of archival material shot in the offensive against the city of Fallujah, Iraq. The footage was originally recorded by a journalist embedded with American assault troops, who were the only ones authorised to record images or approach the area before, during and after the fighting. Years later, the journalist posted the unedited footage on a temporary web site, adding a classical music soundtrack, as an “Iraqi souvenir” for the marines who participated in the attack: “to all the marines of kilo 3/5. Nick and Geoff send their thanks for all your acts of kindness and generosity…” This footage was captured online by Jean Pierre Gambarotta and Perro Loco from Caracas Libertaria, and edited by Abu Ali.

In Jena, a small town in Louisiana, six families are fighting for their sons' lives. Two nooses are left as a warning to black students trying to integrate their playground, fights break out across town, a white man pulls a shotgun on black students, someone burns down most of the school, the District Attorney puts six black students on trial for attempted murder, and the quiet town of Jena becomes the site of the largest civil rights demonstration in the South since the 1960s... The Jena 6 is the story of hidden racial inequality and violence becoming visible.
