"In Limbo" is a collage edited from American satellite feeds intercepted by the artists Marko Peljhan and Brian Springer between 1990 and 1997. The material comprises unfiltered back-hauls from raw live feeds of news networks (before they are packaged with voice-over, music and commercials), as well as corporate and governmental broadcasts for the employees and trainees of the respective companies and law-enforcement institutions.

Borders spill beyond boundaries and permeate cities like the laboratory for a new totalitarian society.

"LIMBO (del latín, Limbus): un mundo entre los vivos y los muertos, un espacio de almacenamiento donde se envían archivos eliminados y un libro de Aldous Huxley".

En tiempos inciertos, "Perpetual", "Nova Express" y "Le jour a vaincu la nuit" ofrecen tres capítulos videográficos sobre el ser en estado de flotación, en una cierta ingravidez, en un lugar y un tiempo difícil de definir en términos concretos. El mundo anterior, sólido, si es que alguna vez existió en tal estado, se ha disuelto, junto con cualquier noción de tiempo y espacio estáticos. Ahora, los límites se difuminan y desafían lo que dábamos por seguro. En este estado desconcertante, la confusión deberá llevarnos a descubrir territorios inexplorados y no identificados, adentrándonos en los dominios de lo ignoto.

Ocho retratos, ocho sueños, ocho escapadas.

El relojero desmonta hábilmente el reloj para su reparación, adentrándose en un ámbito más allá de nuestra comprensión ordinaria del tiempo. En esta dimensión sobrenatural, el intrincado proceso se despliega y condensa en apenas siete minutos. El espacio y el tiempo, conceptos antes familiares, se transforman en abstracciones elusivas, ocultas dentro de los mecanismos laberínticos del reloj. Las manecillas del artefacto giran con rapidez, poco a poco se ralentizan, difuminando los límites que separan el pasado, el presente y el futuro. En este ámbito enigmático, las interpretaciones son diversas, invitando a explorar una amplia gama de posibilidades.

Descubrimos que los sistemas simples de codificación binaria eran suficientes para contener toda la imagen, pero requerían una gran cantidad de espacio de almacenamiento hasta que se entendió que la información binaria se podía escribir a escala molecular, y toda nuestra imagen se podía contener dentro de un grano de arena. Sin embargo, posteriormente se supo que estas moléculas de información no eran materia muerta, sino que exhibían una capacidad de vida que se encuentra en otros lugares en forma de virus." William S. A film based on the Neapolitan cult of dead. It is said that these dead people call out in dreams, and sometimes appear in a crowd: the stranger who is staring at you. They want to be acknowledged. So you adopt a skull, one of the thousands of human remains that can be found below the city. This ancient cult that has been practised until recently has left traces, traditions and beliefs.

Long suppressed by missionaries and then by Soviet anti-religious campaigns, Siberian shamanism has experienced an unprecedented revival following the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the number of shamans continues to rise. But who are these new shamans? Are they tricksters, magicians, businessmen, or cultural activists? This film takes a behind-thescenes look at a Buryat shaman living on an island in Lake Baikal as he moves between intimate shamanic rituals performed for local clientele and shows performed at various resorts for Western tourists in search of “primitive” cultures.
