In 2003, the government headed by ex-president Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada and Carlos Mesa (Bolivia's current president) passed a new Income Tax act, provoking a police riot that was subsequently repressed by the armed forces. The citizen protests that took to the streets were also repressed by the military and snipers. The documentary is made up of radio audio, TV images and newspaper archives from the main Bolivian newspapers.

Infiltrating videoclubs. The Zulú and Clear and Present Danger trailers are part of Nascimento/Lovera's edits-inserts video project. By inserting their re-edited versions of commercial films in rental video chain stores, inter-city buses, public television and the black market, they are able to anonymously maximize the distribution of their work, while also questioning the symbolic mechanisms of power which are no longer located in traditional centers of cultural production, but spread throughout everywhere.

Between 1877 and 1930, governments and private entrepreneurs organized in several European and American cities real Human Zoos, in which men and women of other races and cultures were exhibited in cardboard sets, separated by moats and fences, suffering a humiliating climate and conditions. They are the possessions of the Empire. The success is enormous, the public crowds to see face to face the "other" turned into an object.

It is not surprising to find that Zona Franca, the former commercial area of traditional industry, and 22@, the area recently zoned for logistic and technological capitalism, are part of a huge real estate operation publicised under the umbrella of Barcelona's post-industrial urban renewal. So, what economic and symbolic benefits do they generate, and for whom? What advantages do companies and institutions gain from this symbiosis? And what about the workers?

A nursing home for dementia patients. A place where reality is perceived in a special way, but also where people transcend boundaries of time, place, perception, logic, roles, and the way feelings are conceived. Here, only the essential things make sense, beyond self-control, repression and limits. A place and a time for reflection, transition and being faithful to oneself. A world of struggle and hope, inner freedom and physical confinement: the world with its rules and perceptions. A rewarding journey.

The documentary follows Yuri Vella, a Forest Nenets writer and social activist who lives in West Siberia. He left his village ten years ago to lead the life of a reindeer herder in the taiga. The unique little world he created there was meant to protect him from the alcoholism and unemployment that sadly poses a serious threat to the indigenous peoples of Siberia. To give his grandchildren a proper education in their natural environment and teach them reindeer herding skills, he established an elementary school in his winter camp. Unfortunately, Yuri Vella's world is but an oasis of traditional lifestyle in one of the largest oil-producing regions of Russia.

Erase and new count... Reset the equipment... or better even, format the world... No apocalyptic attempt. I propose that the interpretation be optimistic. Anyway, some Scientists affirm it... and others don't... In this Universe, All End is a Beginning. The Civilization is fragile, the humanity don't Enjoy it while we have it, and then... the afterculture. This is the third part of a TOING! tripartite video. Zerzan, Savinar, Godesky and others, are of course, subjects to scrutine that we may find hope in the coming collapse, to rediscover the balance and fullness of life we enjoyed for millenia. “Yu Koyo Peya” is an expression of the Ipili Papua tribe of the highland of New Guinea, that means “The Land is Ending”.

Yomango did its Christmas dis-shopping. What better way to celebrate the first anniversary of the Argentinean revolt than to take advantage of the generous Christmas deals at the supermarket - a supermarket that happens to have greedy tentacles reaching all the way to Latin America. The special offer on Champaign, "take 14, pay for none!" seemed particularly appealing. The next day, Yomango Tango penetrated into the head office of the Santander Bank to uncork the bottles and drink a toast to the Argentinean people. Thus they brought to the heart of the city, under a shower of Champaign, their war cry: "que se vayan todos!" - calling for all of them to go away "them" usually refers to all politicians, but here it starts with the multinational corporations and banks that suck Argentina dry.

(...) Without scruples, on 28 February, in the midst of the Coronavirus emergency – in five days 110 cases had been officially confirmed in the area, which was out of control – the Italian employer’s federation, Confindustria, launched a social media campaign with the hashtag #YesWeWork. “We need to tone it down, make public opinion understand that things are returning to normal, that people can go back to living the way they used to,”  the president of Confindustria Lombardy, Marco Bonometti, told the media. The message of the promotional video for international partners was absurd: “Coronavirus cases have been diagnosed in Italy, but it is no different to many other countries,” they downplayed the situation. And they lied: “The risk of infection is low”. They blamed the media for unwarranted scaremongering, and they showed workers in their factories while boasting that all their factories would remain “open and at full capacity, as always.” Just five days later, the huge outbreak of infections and deaths arrived. It would end up being the largest in Italy and Europe. Even then, Confindustria did not withdraw the campaign, much less consider closing the factories (...) Article excerpt: Bergamo, the massacre that the employers chose not to prevent The part of Italy that was hardest hit by Covid-19 is a major industrial hub. It was never declared a danger zone due to lobbying by employers. The human cost was catastrophic. Alba Sidera Roma , 10/04/2020
