Reinke uses archival footage from the Prelinger Archives — films on the integration of psychiatric wards into general hospitals, dermatology, testosterone pellet implantation, various newsreels and home movies from the 30's & 40's — to construct seven discrete but interlocked "exercizes" which posit various relationships between author/audience and the subjects in the footage.
