Research project dedicated to critical examination of contemporary culture and society through video. Founded in 1993 in post-Olympic Barcelona, it emerged from La 12 Visual, an independent video association created by filmmakers including Nuria Canal, Joan Leandre, and Toni Serra. Since 1996 it has organized thematic research projects and video screenings at the CCCB and MACBA. In 2004 its archives received the National Cultural Heritage Award from the Generalitat de Catalunya. Resident archive and research project at MACBA.
