The artist simulates the faux-eruption of Mt. Rainier. It aims to amusingly dramatize the contrast between the crude attempt at simulation and the implacable power of the mountain, existing at anoher level of time and space. She also spoofs our desire to domesticate that which we cannot possibly control.
